New York - Prime Minister Modi, along with other world leaders inaugurated Gandhi Solar Park at the UN headquarters, in New York.
PM Modi said, "Gandhi ji never tried to create influence through his life but it became a source of inspiration. We are living in the era of 'how to impress' but Gandhi ji's vision was 'how to inspire'."

 About Gandhi Solar Park -

 50 kilowatt Gandhi Solar Park is the first of its kind symbolic Indian effort at the UN, which brings to focus India’s attempt to walk the talk on climate change and climate action.

 UN postage stamp on Mahatma Gandhi -


Also the world leaders launched UN postage stamp on Mahatma Gandhi, commemorating his 150th birth anniversary.

 Gandhi Peace Garden -

 The 'Gandhi Peace Garden' was also inaugurated on the occasion by PM Modi at the State University of New York at Old Westbury in Long Island.
