यह दिवस हर साल 24 जनवरी को देश भर में मनाया जाता है।
यह महिला और बाल विकास मंत्रालय और भारत सरकार द्वारा 2008 में शुरू किया गया था, जिसका उद्देश्य भारतीय समाज में सभी असमानता वाली लड़कियों के बारे में लोगों में जागरूकता फैलाना था।

इसका मुख्य उद्देश्य देश की लड़कियों को हर लिहाज से अधिक से अधिक सहायता और सुविधाएं प्रदान करना है। राष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस मुख्य मोटो लड़कियों के खिलाफ भेदभाव के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए है।

राष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस का उद्देश्य -

इस अभियान का उद्देश्य देश भर की लड़कियों को जागरूक करना है। साथ ही, इसका उद्देश्य लोगों को यह बताना है कि समाज के निर्माण में महिलाओं का समान योगदान है।

महिलाओं को अपने घरों, कार्यस्थलों और दैनिक जीवन में कई प्रकार के भेदभाव का सामना करना पड़ता है। आज भी, महिलाओं को न केवल गाँव में, बल्कि शहरों में भी कई तरह से लैंगिक भेदभाव का सामना करना पड़ता है।

National Girl Child Day January 24 - In English -

This day is celebrated every year on January 24 across the country. 
It was started by the Ministry of Women and Child Development and the Government of India in 2008, with the purpose to spread awareness among people about all the inequalities girls face in the Indian society.

Its main objective is to provide maximum support and facilities to the girls of the country in every respect.National Girl Child Day main moto is to raise awareness about discrimination against girls.

Objective of National Girl Child Day -

This campaign aims to make people aware of girls across the country. Also, its objective is to tell people that women have an equal contribution to building society.


Women have to face several types of discrimination at their homes, workplaces and in daily lives. Today even, women face gender discrimination in many ways not only in the village but also in the cities.
